BOONE MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH

Welcome!

MOVING FORWARD IN CHRIST, COMMITMENT & COMMUNITY

Dear Members & Friends,

I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hi, I am Pastor Mike Mathes. I invite you to worship with our church family. I am so proud to be the Pastor at the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church. I am proud that the light of hope on this hill continues to burn for almost 102 years! It is phenomenal to consider that this House that the Lord built has stood and still stands strong for this town and community. God is wonderful.

As we enjoy today, look back on yesterday, and remain prayerful for tomorrow, we are so thankful for God’s goodness.

We are a blessed and highly favored people! My continual prayer for the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church is our theme, “Moving Forward in Christ, Commitment and Community.” And through our love, prayers, understanding, worship, and growing, we look forward to worshiping in spirit and in truth. We are anticipating growing in the Lord, while continuing to move forward. As we do so, we will continue to trust in His holy word. He’s never left us nor forsaken us! Remember, only what you do for Christ will last!

Yours In Christ,
Pastor Mike Mathes

Effective March 2020 the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church Services will be held virtually until further notice. To receive notification please fill out and submit our contact form and the login information will be sent to you.

As we see it, the church is not a building — it’s a community of people who love Jesus and love each other. So while we may not be able to meet in person for the foreseeable future, we can and will stay connected with people who care about us online.

In-Person Sunday Service

We are currently worshiping in-person on Sundays.

Given that our congregation is aging and we have a few immunocompromised or high-risk members who would like to attend church on site too, we ask those of you who are in these at risk groups to please consider wearing masks. We will continue to provide disposable masks to anyone who needs one.

1 John 3:18 says “Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
